Rear uprights.
I've been thinking an another way of making rear uprights and i think i finally got it. Because i'll be using BMW E30 rear hubs and bearings bearing housing will be smaller that specified in plans. Mounting points will stay in their original locations so everything in between needs to be modified to fit.
I have all other materials already, except material for housing itself which i managed to source from local scrapyard. Just a piece i needed and now uprights are in progress. I'm not going to mill these myself beacuse blank is simply too big for small lathe i have access to. I will, however, be starting other parts for uprights now that i have dimensions nailed. |
